So I just realised I signed my last post "love and sunshine". It fits I guess because the post was supposed to gone up in the last days of summer, but writing that made me realise that I didn't say at all how happy I was that Autumn is finally here...
There. Aren't. Words. Autumn is my absolutely favourite season.
Since the thermometer started hovering around the low teens mark, I have been in full celebration mode; heading out in hoodies, wearing dark colours and defiantly ignoring my sunglasses on those few sunny days that we have had recently. (Oi, Sun! Go away!)
Love, love, love.
The weather has been all over the place this year as you've probably noticed, but the arrival of Autumn was unmistakeable. The rain came in, the clouds seemed immoveable and the wind. More than once recently I have been convinced that I would lose my hair/hat/brain to the howling and relentless force. Been safe thus far but watch this space.
A few weekends back, I was up in London with my mum because she was doing a charity event called Sing For Water which takes place at the Thames Festival every year. It's a fantastic event where choirs from all over (even Europe I think) congregate and sing to raise money for Water Aid.
I missed the main event on the Sunday (boo, bad daughter!) but got some lovely pictures of the area and, randomly enough, giraffes that were stationed around the place. Also, working slightly in reverse, after the rehearsal on Saturday, we travelled over to the Westfield in Stratford, my favourite place in the world! I was lucky enough to spend some time there while at my internship as well recently. Blissful. So here are a random selection of shots from my weekend in London!
Oh and if someone could pretty please buy me this dress from New Look it would be very much appreciated!
Love and raindrops! xo
